Meet Steve and Tanya Davies, the owners carrying Jerry’s Market’s neighborhood tradition forward.
For decades, they dreamed of a business of their own. In August 2024, that dream brought them to this familiar spot on Sanford’s Main Street.

of showing up.
Jerry’s is Steve and Tanya’s first business together, but local business runs in their family. Their relatives have a long history of owning businesses in the community.
Before taking over the market, Steve worked as a police officer, in IT sales, and as a roofing manager. Tanya spent years as a veterinary technician at a local pet hospital.
Now they bring that same care to the counter, with groceries for everyday life, fresh produce, fruit, cheese, frozen goods, lobster, prepared food for busy days, and a friendly welcome for the neighbors they serve.

Steve and Tanya live in North Berwick with their two “children,” Bulleit and Kingfield. At the market, their values are just as personal.
